About the Foundation

Bill Phillips is a tax partner with Baker Tilly US, LLP, and has extensive experience in providing compliance, tax preparation, consulting, estate planning, business purchase and sale planning services to individuals and businesses. Mr. Phillips has a bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in accounting from West Virginia University.

In addition to serving on the board of the James and Derek Hotsinpiller Memorial Foundation, Mr. Phillips has also served on the board of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA). He has also served as a member of the tax division of the American Institute of Certified Accountants (AICPA), and on the tax committees of the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association, Independent Oil & Gas Association of West Virginia, and PKF North America Network. He also served on the Charles Pointe Economic Opportunity Development District, on the finance committee of the Harrison County Senior Citizens Center, and on the finance committee and as the treasurer of the board of trustees of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church.
