In 2018, we introduced the virtual aspect to our race to include those who had been supporting us nationwide since the race began in 2011. Having a virtual registration allowed us to see how far our message had made it across this country and now the world! There are truly no words to express how amazing this is to our family and our committee.
When we started the virtual run, our aim was to have participants from all 50 states. We achieved this milestone in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Every year, we have been amazed by the growth of this event and the wide-reaching support we receive. Last year, we had the highest worldwide participation, with 13 countries, including the US, running with us across multiple time zones.
We appreciate our amazing community for being rockstar supporters! You are the reason we are able to continue honoring the memories of Jim and Derek and supporting the brave men and women in Law Enforcement. Your dedication and enthusiasm truly make a difference in our cause.
As we look ahead to 2024, we are filled with hope and excitement for what’s to come. Our goal of having 10 runners from each state and participants from 20 countries this year is ambitious, but with supporters like you by our side, we know it’s possible.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with us. Together, we can continue spreading our message of remembrance, honor, and support for Law Enforcement across the globe. Let’s lace up our running shoes and make 2024 our best year yet!
