About the Foundation

Dr. Gregory P. Noone, Ph.D., J.D., holds the esteemed position of Director at the Fairmont State University National Security and Intelligence Program, where he also serves as a distinguished Professor of Political Science and Law. With an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, Dr. Noone retired from the United States Navy as a Captain and judge advocate.

Throughout his extensive military service, Dr. Noone’s exceptional contributions earned him numerous accolades, including the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and two Defense Meritorious Service Medals. His remarkable achievements and expertise in the field of national security and intelligence have positioned him as a respected authority in his field.

Furthermore, Dr. Noone has been actively involved with the Hotsinpiller Scholarship Board of Directors since its inception, serving in both elected and volunteer capacities. His dedicated commitment to the board has played a vital role in supporting and shaping the scholarship program.
