Mark Rogers

Board Member

Mark Rogers is the current Chief of Police with the Bridgeport Police Department. He began his career in 2005 with the Bridgeport Police Department. Since that time, he’s had specialized training as a motor officer, Special Response Team (team leader), FBI Certified Law Enforcement Instructor, Firearms Instructor, and many other disciplines relevant to criminal investigation and law enforcement education.

His assignments included Patrol Officer, Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force Agent, Patrol Sergeant, Investigation Division Sergeant, Deputy Chief of Police prior to being named the Chief of Police. Mark has worked with many of the area agencies at the Local, State and Federal levels of law enforcement for the betterment of the community and looks forward to aiding current law enforcement officers as well as future officers as a board member.
