About the Foundation

Norman Farley is a partner in the law firm of West and Jones in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and is engaged in the private practice of law. Norm graduated from the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics (B.S.) and the West Virginia University College of Law (J.D.). He is a Fiduciary Commissioner for Harrison County, West Virginia. Norm has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Defender Corporation For The 15 th Judicial Circuit since 2001. He was the Chairman of the Young Lawyers Section of the West Virginia State Bar and served three terms on the West Virginia State Bar Board Of Governors. He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the West Virginia Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, and is a former member of the West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the West Virginia Law School Association. Norm was President of the Harrison County Bar Association and President of the Upshur County Bar Association. He was formerly a member of the Harrison County Ballot Resolution Board. Norm was the President of the Rotary Club of Clarksburg, the Buckhannon Lions Club, and the Buckhannon Country Club. Norm has been a long-time member of the Mountaineer Athletic Club. He has been a coach in Youth Basketball Leagues and Youth Softball Leagues. He has been a Board member or officer of various local civic and school organizations. He was also an Instructor in Business Law at West Virginia Wesleyan College.
