Saturday’s 13th edition of the annual Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K race at Bridgeport City Park.saw a record number of particiants take part. More than 1,100 were in the field, including those involved locally as well as virtually.
The overall winner was Aiden Kneeland, a student at Beckley’s Woodrow Wilson High School. He finished with a time of 16 minutes, 3.37 seconds. The top female finisher was Robert C. Byrd High School graduate Claudia Moore, who posted a time of 18 minutes, 59.56 seconds.
