I have been volunteering with the Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K on race day since the inaugural year in 2011. I joined the official DHFS 5K Race Committee in 2019. My wife, Ashton, and I are graduates of Bridgeport High School. I graduated from Fairmont State University with a degree in Civil Engineering and am currently employed as the Associate Engineer for the City of Bridgeport.
The importance of this race for our community is tremendous. To recognize those heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty is an honor. This event allows us to celebrate and support Law Enforcement here and across our country.
