Pamela Hotsinpiller

I am a mother, grandmother and a retired teacher. I still work with the Harrison County Board of Education at the Parent/Educator Resource Center and Coordinate the Healthy Grandfamilies Project.

Both of my sons graduated from Bridgeport High School, Fairmont State University and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Georgia. Dustin is currently a Deputy United States Marshal serving the Northern District of West Virginia. Derek was also a Deputy with the Marshal’s Service and was fatally wounded serving an arrest warrant in 2011.

I am blessed to live right beside my son Dustin and his wife Ashley. I love spending time with my grandsons, Landon who is eleven (11) years old, Liam nine (9) and Logan who is six (6). I love making lifetime memories through the many family trips to beaches, Disney World, Disney Land and most recently Hawaii. And the lifetime memories made by visits to local creeks to find treasures of crawdads, salamanders, fish and other aquatic creatures.

I have been a member of Simpson Creek Baptist Church in Bridgeport, WV for over 40 years. I have served as a 3rd grade Sunday school teacher, helped with Bible School and served as a Deacon. I am the Personal Development Coordinator for the SCBC Lucie Byrd Eastham Circle and the SCBC Women’s Executive Board and the Union Association Executive Board. I have a passion for gathering with a group of ladies to facilitate Women’s Bible Studies.

I am the wife of the late Lieutenant James W. Hotsinpiller, Jr. Since 1975 I have been a LEO wife. I am the mother of DUSM Dustin James Hotsinpiller. I have been a LEO mother since 2002. I am also the mother of DUSM Derek W. Hotsinpiller who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty in 2011. I want to replace Derek with as many well- trained Law Enforcement Officers as I possibly can by offering scholarships. My heart is dedicated to doing whatever I can to Celebrate, Encourage and Support all Law Enforcement Officers.
