Rachael Moore

My name is Rachael Moore. I have been participating in the DHFS5K event in some capacity since it began and officially joined the race committee in 2024. I assist in delivering sponsorship packets, race day set up and take down, as well as assisting with race day registration.

I grew up in Brockport, New York. I attended St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, where I had the honor of being senior class president. I graduated with degrees in both Special Education and Elementary Education. In 2009, my husband and I moved to Bridgeport, West Virginia and I completed my Master’s Degree at WVU. I love living in Bridgeport and raising our two children in this beautiful state. I am a special educator at Victory Elementary School and my husband, Terry Moore, is the Chief Deputy US Marshal for the Northern District of West Virginia.
