I have been a part of the committee since the race’s inception in 2011. I am a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. Currently reside with my wife Jamie and 4 kids (Abigail, Camden, Luke and Hartley) as well as our dog Millie.
First and foremost this race is a tribute. A tribute to Derek and all officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice. It’s also an opportunity to raise awareness and funds. Every year our aim is to support the LEO community however we can. Whether it be in scholarships or by providing financial support during a hardship, we strive to be that helping hand. So much of today’s society focuses on the negative and it’s so refreshing that small town Bridgeport is doing our part to spread positivity for law enforcement.
