Emma Carpenter is the daughter of Francis R. “Butch” and Tammy J. Moore-Carpenter of Shinnston, WV. She is a recent graduate of Lincoln High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the band. She was also an active member of the Lincoln basketball, soccer and softball teams. Emma will continue her education at Fairmont State University and plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.
In her application, Emma stated, “I feel great pride for the people involved in the criminal justice system that do their best everyday to make the citizens feel safe and I want to be a part of that.”
Katalin Marie Stanton is a Notre Dame High School graduate. She is the daughter of Ralph and Mary Beth Stanton of Salem, WV. At Notre Dame, she was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and Key Club, as well as the basketball and golf teams. Katalin is also active with her church youth group and the peer ministry.
She has been accepted to Wheeling Jesuit University where she will pursue a degree in Information Sciences and Criminal Justice. Katalin said she wants “to be able to protect others and save lives” and plans to do so by becoming a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
