Austin Heavner

Austin Heavner is a 2024 graduate of Hampshire High School where he completed and scored extremely high in a Law and Public and Safety Career Cluster. He is currently studying Criminal Justice at Fairmont State University. He has his career sights set on either serving as a State Trooper for the State of West Virginia or an FBI Special Agent, inspired by his experience with Mountaineer Boys State Police (achieving rank of sergeant) and the FBI Teen Academy in Martinsburg. While at HHS, Austin was named Criminal Justice Student of the Semester and Law Student of the Year. He also reached the rank of Assistant Director in the Criminal Justice and Law Academy. Austin was a member of the Hampshire High School Band and Jazz Ensemble, HHS Theatre, National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society. A word that best describes Austin is “caring.” He has a strong protective bond with many people because of how much he cares for them. Austin is the son of Sandee Heavner.
