Delaney G. Haller entered Fairmont State University in the fall of 2023 to major in Criminal Justice and minor in National Security and Intelligence. During her first semester she maintained a 4.0 GPA and was part of the honors program. She is a dual sport athlete and received athletic scholarships for softball and soccer. She is a Student Athlete Advisory Committee representative. She graduated from Lincoln High School valedictorian with a GPA of 4.11. She served as Lincoln High School Student Body Secretary and National Honor Society President. She was class secretary her freshman, sophomore and junior year and member of the Drug Free Club. She was a member of the Key Club and served as treasurer. She was also a Student Council member and Executive Board member. She accumulated over 50 hours of community service hours specific to school-related extracurriculars. Organizations for which she volunteered included Shinnston Woman’s Club, Feed a Family Program, Turkey Trot, Angel Luv, Operation Shoe Box, Stepping Stones, and others. She received multiple honors including Exponent Telegram/Truist Athlete of the Week, two-time Big Ten All Conference Soccer – 1st team, NFCA/Max Preps Player of the Week for Southeast Region, and WV Sportswriters Association Class AA State Softball Team, second team, captain, All-County Softball – 1st Team, Big Ten All Conference Softball (pitcher of the year), and two-time Harrison County Softball Player of the Year, among others.
